de Vita Yoga is a Sole proprietorship created by Sara DeVita.  Sara began practicing yoga in 2005 as a means of physical exercise but found much greater benefits to the practice of yoga for the body, mind and soul.

On a quest to deepen her practice, she completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2013 in Costa Rica studying vinyasa flow in its classical form under her teachers Paula Tursi and Peter Kaaberbol.

Continuing to build on her practice, Sara completed a course in Ayurvedic Yoga therapy at the Sivananda Yoga Ashram in the Bahamas, Yoga Nidra at the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Farm in Grass Valley California and Marma Therapy and Pranic Healing in Nevada City, California.  These courses were led by Dr. Marc Halpern, founder and CEO of the California College of Ayurveda.

Sara is also holds a 300 Hour Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy certificate with the Sarasvati Institute of Ayurveda and has most recently completed an Ayurvedic Health Counsellor Certificate from the Mount Madonna Institute.

Based in Revelstoke, BC, she brings over a decade of experience and an integrative approach to healing—rooted in movement, breath, and Ayurvedic philosophy. Sara’s work reflects a profound respect for the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit—and the ancient systems that support that balance.
